Miriam is a specialist for the coordination of international patent disputes and the enforcement of intellectual property rights in various jurisdictions. Focusing on the pharma and biotech industry, life science and medical engineering, her strategic advice comprises questions regarding the Unified Patent Court (UPC) and the European Patent with Unitary Effect. She represents and advises our clients in all matters of intellectual property and technical industrial property rights. Miriam is an expert in the area of interim legal protection, including preliminary injunctions and evidence seizures. Asa Kling:

Asa Kling heads the firm’s IP practice. His practice focuses on litigation and transactional issues pertaining to all aspects of intellectual property. 
Mr Kling provides clients with insights into the operations of IP offices, especially where cutting edge technologies such as blockchain, AI, IoT and software implemented inventions are concerned. 
Prior to joining the firm, Mr Kling was the director of the Israel Patent Office and Commissioner of Patents, Trademarks and Designs (2011- 2017). Mr Kling is well-recognised as a leading litigator in courts, arbitrations, mediations and proceedings at the Israel Patent Office which he presided. He has gained a unique perspective on special IP litigation matters, such as patent term extensions, patent and trademark validity, design rights under the new Israeli Design Law, service inventions and trade secrets. 
Mr Kling is a regular speaker in many international forums. He teaches IP law in several academic institutes.
