The Future of Fetal Genetics Testing

Approximately 2.5% of fetuses have a major congenital anomaly, with about a quarter of these conditions having a known genetic cause. Currently, most genetic alterations can only be detected through invasive procedures, which pose a risk of miscarriage. However, advances in non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) are paving the way for a safer, more comprehensive approach. In this lecture, we will explore a groundbreaking new product that leverages NIPT technology to identify all genetic mutations in the fetus.
